a weak local strong cloud model for online games
could offload a lot of processing
from the game console to the cloud
while keeping low latency between the gamer and the server
demanding graphics that require very powerful hardware
would be processed in the cloud
while latency sensitive parts of the game
would be processed by the local hardware in the gaming console
the foreground graphics
is done by the weak local processing of the game console
which keeps the latency low between the gamer and the server
while the background graphics
is done by the strong cloud processing of the servers
which keeps the game console cheap
and the latency sensitive parts of the game
are done by the weak local processing of the game console
which keeps the latency low between the gamer and the server
while the parts of the game that aren't latency sensitive
are done by the strong cloud processing of the servers
in an mmo game
it would be 10% local processing of graphics
and 90% cloud processing of graphics
and in an open world game
it would be 20% local processing of graphics
and 80% cloud processing of graphics
and in a competitive multiplayer fps shooter
it would be 50% local processing of graphics
and 50% cloud processing of graphics
microsoft successfully implemented a weak local strong cloud model
to stream data to the game flight simulator 2024
so that less data would need to be installed locally
in the hard drive of the xbox or pc
microsoft's data centers already has enough processing power
but the internet connections all the way home to the gamers
have too low bandwidth
because of weak infrastructure in usa
a weak local strong cloud model
could turn current gen xbox and playstation consoles
into next gen consoles
because the cloud processing of graphics
would make the graphics look a lot better
and cloud processing could use ai tools
to enhance the graphics of older games
when poverty decreases
and every human in every country
lives with atleast american economic standards
then a lot more guys will have
game consoles and gaming computers
and most people will have wearable ar/vr headsets
and that will significantly increase the processing of gaming data
which will increase the need
to offload a lot of that processing of data into the cloud
such as data centers in space
mainly because of economics of scale
