then that student will get right or wrong on its answers
so if the student was motivated and studied hard
then part of that motivation will die
if the student gets wrong on some of the answers
or if the student was unmotivated and studied little
then more of that motivation will die
if the student gets wrong on many of the answers
but if the student gets help from the teacher
to solve math assignments
then it will matter less if the answer is right or wrong
because the student will learn from the process
and the process is solving math assignments
if one teacher explains math to 30 students
then that teacher wastes its energy
so that the teacher will have less energy to help the students
when the students do math assignments
instead the students could look at videos explaining math
on their personal tablets with headphones
and then the students solve math assignments
while a few teachers help students that get stuck
this learning by doing approach is not a new idea
and has some things in common with how workers learn at a company
which is new worker is instructed by older worker or boss
how to do work
and then new worker gets guidance
from older worker or boss
while doing work
it easily becomes a bad cycle
that the teachers takes longer and longer time
to explain math theory to its 30 students
because the teacher sees that the students understands too little
to solve math assignments by themselves
and only one teacher can't help 25 out of 30 students
that need help to solve math assignments
more teachers per student
will enable more students to get help
so that fewer students get stuck
but it will cost more for the government to pay for more teachers
but if more students succeed in studies
then that will benefit companies that get more competent workers
so that those companies earn more money
and the government gets more tax money
