economic patriotism

every country most likely covertly transfers some of its tax money
into covert programmes
since covert activities are needed to defend each country

but when a country covertly transfers some of its tax money
into covert programmes
then less tax money will go to welfare, healthcare and education
so that poor people get less welfare money
sick people get less healthcare
and students get worse education

but if most companies transferred some of their own money
into covert programmes
then that could financially relieve the welfare of a country
while the covert activities of that country are strengthened

and each company earns more money
in a country that is more secure
so economic patriotism
will indirectly be an efficient investment for each company

and the tasks of the country
shifts more from financing its own covert activities
to controlling its own covert activities
