toy robots

the company robosen makes small transformers robot toys
which are small robots that transform into toy cars
and talk some prerecorded lines
but those robots are not intelligent
they only walk a little and transform on command

but if those robots were upgraded
with hardware from a cheap smarthone
so that they could connect with wifi to chatgpt or grok on the internet

then those robots would be able to talk with some intelligence
with their original robot voices
and chatgpt or grok would be able to learn from talking with users

and those robots could walk with some intelligence
or transform into a car and drive with some intelligence
so that the robot doesn't fall down from the table
and the robot would be able to walk or drive from one room to another
when the user calls for them
and more importantly chatgpt or grok could learn
from the toy robot walking around indoors
since some people won't be able to afford to buy a tesla robot
for their homes

chatgpt or grok could synthesize the voices of the original voice actors
so that the optimus prime robot talks with the optimus prime voice
with all the intelligence of chatgpt or grok

example:
a boy child does his homework
but the homework is difficult
so the boy asks optimus prime for help
and a toy semi truck drives itself from the other end of the room
the boy lifts the toy semi truck up on the table
and the toy semi truck transforms into the optimus prime robot
and optimus prime looks at the homework
and asks the boy what part of the homework he needs help with
the boy points in his math book
and the toy robot uses all the intelligence of chatgpt or grok
to help the boy with his homework

x86

the x86 patents for 486, x86-64 and amd64 have expired
according to google gemini

so according to chatgpt
it would be possible to build a functioning x86 cpu
with those expired patents

but the patents for avx and other functionality has not expired
according to google gemini

and according to chatgpt there are some projects
like vortex86 and opensoc86

patents in usa usually expire after 20 years
so chinese companies could develop and produce a x86 cpu
and sell it on the international markets
completely legal

but that cpu could possibly have limited functionality
unless the companies involved
develop or buy their own technology
to give the cpu more functionality

microsoft windows is made from technology consisting of many patents
and as the product is continually developed, more patents are added
but as patents in usa expire after 20 years
it's interesting to note that
windows 1.0 was released 1985
and windows 95 was released 1995
and windows xp was released 2001
according to wikipedia

but it would probably take a lot of reverse engineering
for another company to make a windows product that works
but there is the reactos project

both private and business customers
probably prefer to buy x86 cpu from intel and amd
and windows from microsoft
but since those customers have invested a lot of money
into software and hardware in the x86 windows ecosystem
and a lot of time and effort into training
then those customers
would probably like if there were functioning open source alternatives
to both x86 hardware and windows software
so that those customers had alternatives
if intel, amd or mictosoft discontinued their x86 windows products
or even worse if intel, amd or microsoft went bankrupt

rebreather

a rebreather for diving
could use electricity for carbon scrubbing
if it's possible to make the technology compact enough

and according to google gemini
electricity is used for carbon scrubbing in big industrial processes

so if it's possible
to make the carbon scrubbing technology small enough
then it could be used in rebreather equipment
used by firemen, divers and astronauts

and a bigger version of the electrical carbon scrubbing technology
could be used in
submarines, high altitude aircraft, spacecraft, space stations,
cbrn hardened military ships,
cbrn hardened military vehicles
and cbrn hardened facilities such as bunkers

if a space station used electrical carbon scrubbing technology
then it would enable the space station to reuse its air indefinitely
as long as it gets electricity from its solar panels
and no chemical filters would be needed
so replacing chemical filters
could be removed from the logistical process
which is of some interest
since the logistical process of space stations relies on rockets
