a politician doesn't necessarily believe in what is says or does 

but if the politician is manipulated and coerced 
by unrighteous individuals 
then that politician will be used as a tool 
by unrighteous individuals 

most politicians are controlled by unrighteous individuals 
and that lures out untighteous individuals
