walmart

it would be logical if walmart buys one big fast food chain
such as mcdonalds or burger king
or a few smaller fast food chains

and if walmart buys a big café chain like starbucks
or a few smaller café chains

and if walmart buys big food companies
like coca cola or pepsi, nestlé, mondelez international
and so on

and if walmart buys a lot of farmland,
big crop farms, grain mills, bakeries,
big cattle farms, slaughterhouses,
food factories, warehouses, logistics companies
and all the activities inbetween
so that walmart becomes completely vertically integrated

and if walmart buys supermarket companies
in every country
and that walmart builds walmart supermarkets
in those countries where other supermarket companies are not bought

walmart shouldn't rebrand companies that it buys
into walmart burgers or walmart café or walmart cola
instead walmart should keep the company names and brand names
of the companies that walmart buys
so that the customers keep the freedom to choose between many brands

but walmart should consolidate operations in the background
such as offices, factories, logistics and so on
so that walmart benefits from economies of scale

if the economy in a country becomes worse
then people will eat less on fast food chains
but they will still buy food on supermarkets
because people always need to eat
no matter the state of the national or global economy

people in other countries trusts american brands
such as nike, ford and microsoft
so those people will trust an american brand like walmart too

and everyone likes quality food at good prices
