are going to be able to compete with foreign companies
such as chinese companies
then american companies
need to be able to form gigantic conglomerates
that buys up most companies in economic sectors and geographic areas
and that use vertically integrated business models
and those conglomerates
will probably need to be allowed to have monopolies
so that their growth is not hindered
as long as they don't misuse their monopoly
and those gigantic conglomerates
need to compete with government activities
such as financing, building and running cities,
financing and running welfare
and financing and controlling military operations
through the use of private military companies with full military capability
in order to grow big enough
to challenge any and every foreign company
the enormous size of those gigantic conglomerates
will enable space industrialization and space colonization
to happen quicker
and will make it possible to handle any potential threat in space
which will increase probability of survival of humanity
sometimes big tools are needed
and gigantic conglomerates are those tools
