aliens have for some time been telepathically talking with me 
about political ideologies such as fascism and communism 

I think it's weird 
that aliens are interested in those types of political ideologies 
especially if those aliens have colonies in space / other planets 
and are thereby somewhat technologically advanced 

but that could indicate that if an alien civilization 
doesn't enable individuals in it's population 
to learn dark arts 
then that could devolve a technologically advanced civilization 
into something politically primitive
