as far as I understand 

ai uses logic, memory and search 

to solve problems 

but accessing memory takes time 

and processing memory takes time 

while logic is fast 

so if ai could use only logic 

without using memory and search 

to solve problems 

then that could speed up ai 

and make ai more capable 

at first gemini ai claims that it's able to use only logic

then gemini ai reveals that it's not able to solve problems 

by using only logic

so I get the impression that significant improvements 

can be made in ai development
