alien weaknesses

to me it's obvious that a lot of alien civilizations 

and living alien machines 

have existed long before humanity became a civilization 

and I think it's highly likely that some alien civilizations 

have existed long before mammals evolved into humans 

but I think it's bizarre that those older alien civilizations 

and alien living machines 

haven't achieved more results 

which indicates that aliens and alien living machines 

understand too little from observation 

and learn too little 

and develop too few instincts 

and have too little common sense 

and worst of all too few of them know dark arts
