a company could buy cheap land in a poor country 

and use cheap workers to build apartment buildings 

and then rich countries could pay the company 

so that refugees live in the apartments that the company owns 

then the rich countries don't need to receive refugees 

and the rich country can help more refugees for less money 

if those refugees 

live in the company's apartments in a poor country 

compared to a refugee camp or hotel in a rich country 

and since the rich country 

will be able to help more refugees for less money 

then that will be a formidable soft power tool 

to stabilize regions that are affected by conflicts / wars 

and the company earns more money 

if there are more refugees 

and the poor country gets more business from companies 

that develop land, builds apartments buildings, 

produces food, produces services and so on 

and as the economy in the poor country develops 

then the prices of the land increases 

so that the company that bought cheap land 

can sell or rent out that land for a higher price

and as AI and humanoid robots increases automation 

then building apartment buildings will become cheaper 

and producing food will become cheaper 

but land will always increase in value 

as long as the population increases 

and in the future 

refugees could come from other places 

than what is usual in these times
