instead of running a route 
run for a while until you get to a metro station 
take the metro to a random metro station 
use instincts to choose which metro station 
go off metro station 
and run to another metro station 
take metro to a random metro station 
go off and run somewhere until you find a metro station 
use city maps or gps map on phone to find metro stations 
mix it up by running to a bus station 
and take the bus to a random bus station 
repeat until tired 
then take metro or bus home 

resting body on metro train reduces risk of injury 
while training mind in improvising 

running becomes more physically intense 
resting on metro train becomes more mentally intense 

planning of which metro stations to run to and travel from 
could be planned before or during excercise or improvised 

walking works instead of running too
