if a man goes outside of his home 

and starts shoveling snow outside 

then maybe animals thinks that man is homeless 

because animals think man is digging in the snow to find a new home 

animals dig in snow either to find home or find food 

if animals were cybernetic then their telepathic communication to cybernetic man would maybe be: 

upset, distressed, shameful, agitated, humiliated, distressed, embarrassed, worried and angry thoughts and feelings
