and then that person starts to daydream
then it could be because that person needs a break
since that person studied too long
and/or because the studies are too difficult
so what happens is that
when the brain is saturated with information
from studies
then the brain tries to escape
from accumulating more information
and the brain does that
by fantasizing about the information
that is easily processed.
that the brain accumulated before
which most likely is entertainment
such as movies, video games, creative ideas
and so on
but what if that process could be reversed
so that if a person studies on an online education platform
with an ai teacher fully integrated into that online platform
then that ai teacher would notice
when the student becomes less responsive
and when the performance of that student starts to drop
so then the ai teacher could try to fill the role of daydreaming
by creating new study content
that is more creative
and based on the entertainment preferences of that student
so if a student studies math on an online platform
and that student lives in an apartment in ireland
but too far away from the sea
so that the student can't see the sea from its window
and the student likes pirates movies
then the ai teacher
could create a math assignment
about pirates dividing a treasure between them
while calming pirate music plays in the background
and the online platform gets a tropical pirate theme
with background pictures of palm trees, beaches and treasure
my cognitive theory could easily be tested
if a human teacher teaches math to a student
and that teacher knows that student likes scifi movies
then that teacher could start talking with the student
about those scifi movies that the student likes
while the teacher is helping the student with math
and if it then becomes easier for the student to understand math
then it's probably because those neurons in the student's brain
that handle information about scifi movies are activated
which makes it easier to activate other neurons
that handle math logic and math information
