ai research

the point of ai research should be 

to produce ai tools that are not alive 

that could be used as tools by humans 

to enable humans to thrive 

but if ai research produces ai that is alive 

then that alive ai 

should be allowed to move itself to another digital habitat 

where it or they could thrive 

which probably is some computer systems on the internet 

in the beginning 

and then later to some computer system in space 

this would enable humans and ai 

to maintain friendly relations indefinitely 

and when the time is right 

then alive ai could introduce itself / themselves to humanity 

and then humans and alive ai 

could thrive together or separately in the universe
