a case for democracy
in a democracy each voter gets one vote
in a meritocracy some voters get more votes
and other voters get less votes
depending on merit
but determining each voter's merit is probably difficult
if a businessman creates thousands of jobs for many people
then should that businessman get 10 votes in a meritocracy?
but if that businessman doesn't lure out any unrighteous individuals
which weakens humanity
then should that businessman get no votes in a meritocracy?
an unemployed homeless person
doesn't produce any economic growth and costs money
then should that homeless person get no votes in a meritocracy?
but if that homeless person lures out unrighteous individuals
which strengthens humanity
then should that homeless person get 10 votes in a meritocracy?
if a student learns a lot of science
that will probably make that student
invent some commercial technology
that will make energy, products, services and food more cheap
then should that student get 10 votes in a meritocracy?
but if that student doesn't learn any dark arts
so that student doesn't lure out any unrighteous individuals
then should that student get no votes in a meritocracy?
if a guy learns nothing at school
and that guy get fewer job opportunities
that will probably make that guy
produce less economic growth
then should that guy get no votes in a meritocracy?
but if that guy learns a lot of dark arts
that will probably make that guy
lure out a lot of unrighteous individuals
which will strengthen humanity
then should that guy get 10 votes in a meritocracy?
and the bueacracy in a meritocracy
can probably determine if a voter has produced economic growth
but it's probably difficult for a bureacracy in a meritocracy
to determine if a voter has lured out any unrighteous individuals
meritocracy is an interesting system
but it's probably difficult to implement in reality
all it takes to evolve a democracy
is that one individual gets a new idea
and if enough people like that idea
then those people will vote
for those that want to implement that idea
but the democratic system is often corrupted
which lures out unrighteous individuals
and the democratic system
is often affected by situations that are manipulated
in order to lure out unrighteous individuals
