most families don't buy an electric car 

before when electric cars were weak 

and not now when electric cars are expensive 

but in the future when electric cars are strong and cheap 

a country needs to develop it's economy 

to be able to invest in research 

so that new technology is created 

and that new technology will develop the country's economy 

if a rich country 

wants to use taxes and economic restrictions 

to reduce the use of dirty technologies 

and to force the use of clean technologies 

as environmental politics to better the environment 

then that rich country needs to become a lot richer 

to be able to afford the economic stagnation that occurs 

because of taxes and economic restrictions 

regarding environmental politics 

so the rich country needs to use dirty technology 

to develop the economy 

and then gradually replace dirty technology with clean technology 

when clean technology is better and cheaper than dirty technology 

so that it occurs because of market reasons 

and not because of tax reasons and economic restrictions
