economic politics
the economy in europe needs to develop
and for that to happen
then the economic engine of europe needs cheaper energy
there is too little sunlight in europe
for solar farms to produce a lot of cheap energy in the near future
but a lot of solar farms could be built by companies in northern africa
and sold by those companies to europe
by transferring solar energy
through underwater power cables from africa to europe
which would give europe a lot of cheap energy
and would give africa a lot of money
but that will not be enough cheap energy for europe in the near future
so more nuclear power plants in more european countries
would make energy cheaper in europe
european workers could work for european companies
to build many nuclear power plants in europe
but then there would be fewer european workers
available to build infrastructure such as rail and road in europe
so african migrant workers could work for european companies
to build infrastructure such as rail and roads in europe
europe needs a lot of rail for transport trains
and europe needs a lot of high speed rail for passenger trains
and in the future europe will need maglev rail for passenger trains
and europe needs a lot of roads and highways
and europe needs a lot of bridges for roads and rail
to strengthen the economic engine of europe
the economic engine of africa needs a lot of cheap energy
so a lot of solar farms and dirty power plants needs to be built in africa
to develop the african economy
since I was a teenager
I have been in favour of migrant workers
from poor countries to rich countries
and since I was a teenager
I have been suspicious, reluctant and often against asylum seekers
from poor countries to rich countries
and since I was a teenager
I thought that poor people in poor countries
would benefit more
if they migrated as migrant workers to rich countries
instead of migrating as asylum seekers to rich countries
and for a long time I have thought
that rich countries could help more asylum seekers
by sending asylum seekers to poor countries
instead of sending asylum seekers to rich countries
because it's cheaper for rich countries to pay for housing and food
for asylum seekers in poor countries than in rich countries
since housing and food is expensive in rich countries
and cheap in poor countries
but european politians
have often done the opposite to what I wanted
in many political decisions
