if transistors are made at an increasingly smaller scale 

and those transistors become cooler when they work harder 

instead of hotter 

then that's a nice problem to have 

when those transistors are mass produced as computer chips 

and if heat is necessary to warm the chips 

then those chips could be placed in data centers in the desert 

or in satellites and put in orbit around a star 

in order to heat the chips as they become cool from working hard 

there are many military applications of such a technology 

one of them is cooling down spacecrafts 

so that their heat signature could be hidden 

during some circumstances
