microchip

everybody knows that companies will always be able to sell food 

because humans need to eat food 

if economy becomes worse 

then more humans buy food in supermarket 

and if economy becomes better 

then more humans buy food in fast food restaurants 

but there is another product that has always been selling 

for the last few decades 

microchips 

if economy becomes worse 

then more humans buy cheaper mobile phones and computer 

which have cheaper microchips 

and if economy becomes better 

then more humans buy better mobile phones and computers 

which have more expensive microchips 

and regardless if economy is good or bad 

companies still build servers, datacenters 

and both wired and wireless internet infrastructure

because mobile phones and computers 

need to connect to the internet 

but according to media 

it's expensive and difficult to produce microchips 

and big rich companies

like nvidia, apple, google, microsoft, amazon and facebook 

are worth a few trillion dollars each 

so they have a lot of money to invest 

which makes it bizarre that those big rich companies 

haven't built their own microchip factories 

either together or separately 

since those companies need microchips 

and their customers need microchips 

for those companies to be able to sell their products and services 

anyways if tesla/xai/spacex 

succeeds in building their gigantic microchip factories 

then nvidia, apple, google, microsoft, amazon and facebook 

and their customers 

could buy some of their microchips from tesla/xai/spacex 

but if nvidia, apple, google, microsoft, amazon and facebook 

had been more ambitious 

and built  their own microchip factories 

then they could have produced microchips for themselves 

and sold microchips to their customers 

and sold microchips to every willing buyer 

keep in mind 

that every human and every company on planet earth 

buys products containing microchips
