apple uses arm chips in it's mobile phones, tablets, laptops, 

desktop computers, wristwatches and ar glasses 

if computer companies that uses windows switches from x86 to arm 

in laptops, desktop computers and servers 

by buying arm chips from chip companies 

that produce arm chips for computers

then intel has no other choice 

than to start producing arm chips instead of x86 chips 

recoding windows apps from x86 to arm code 

could take time and money 

but that switch went fast for apple apps 

if a future xbox switched from x86 to arm 

then all future xbox games would switch from x86 to arm code 

and that could accelerate the transition of games on windows computers 

from x86 to arm code 

if windows computer companies forced intel to switch to arm 

then that would also enable intel to start producing arm chips 

for mobile phones, tablets, wristwatches and ar glasses 

which would expand the market for intel 

and enable intel to grow and earn more money 

but then again intel could keep producing x86 chips 

for laptops, desktop computers and servers 

for computer companies 

and start producing arm for mobile phones, tablets, 

wristwatches and ar glasses 

for mobile devices companies 

that intel would start producing arm chips domestically in usa 

for mobile device companies in the us and international markets 

seems likely if the us government implements trade restrictions 

of computer chips and mobile chips
