thorium nuclear reactors in iran

if iran wanted to build thorium nuclear reactors instead of uranium nuclear reactors, then that could be more politically acceptable in the west because of difficulties weaponizing thorium reactors 

india develops thorium nuclear reactors and would benefit to increase their exports 

both iran and india has relations and trade with russia 

probably iran will build solar farms for energy production while the uranium nuclear question gets nowhere the next few decades, 

but thorium reactors could be something real
