instagram bug

when I follow more than 181 individuals on my instagram phone app 
then other individuals are removed 
so that only 181 individuals are followed 
and if I want to follow another individual 
then I have to remove an individual I'm already following 
if I don't, then some individual is removed anyway somehow 
it's an irritating bug in the instagram system
