it has worked for more than 40 years 
and it still works 

the disadvantages are that this strategy creates many braindead meat puppets, which can be annoying 
but unrighteous humans would have been annoying anyway if they hadn't been turned into braindead meat puppets 
and if unrighteous humans hadn't been turned into braindead meat puppets 
then they would have done real long term damage to humanity
