if there was a disaster, 

massive asteroid impact, 

polluting volcano eruption, 

devastating solar storm, 

or other catastrophe 

and lots of humans died thereof, 

then androids would probably awaken the bodies of those dead humans with the use of femto machine cybernetics, 

so that those humans would walk around, talk and work as before, 

so that everything would carry on as normal
