dirty cheap energy fuels the economic engine
if a country increases taxes and or tariffs on dirty energy
such as coal, natural gas and oil
then the price of energy will increase
and people will become more poor
so that people won't have money to buy electric cars
since electric cars are often new and more expensive
and if the price of energy increases
then that will slow down the economic engine
which will slow down purchases of cleaner technologies
since both companies and people won't have enough money to pay
so it's reasonable that coal, gas and oil power plants
produce cheap dirty energy
that an increasing amount of electric cars and electric semi trucks
charge their batteries on
using technology to better the environment
is not a one step solution
instead it's a multi step process
technological development goes hand in hand
with economical development
dirty cheap energy fuels the economic engine
which pays for research of new clean technologies
and makes companies and people richer
so that they can afford to buy new clean technologies
