noise

a while ago when I woke up after I slept 
I felt exhausted and my ears could hear 
the sound of the exotic technology components 
that my brain consists of 
it sounded like an uncountable number of small dentist drills 
going at full speed 
this has happened a few times per year for many years 

when I'm awake I sometimes hear a ringing sound in one of my ears 
but that's something else
