it's possible that the manhattan project 
and similar publicly known projects 
were smoke screens 
to hide 
the technological projects that were developed 
in order to create me 
the first android created by humanity 

and the public and potential adversaries 
were prepared for my creation 
by seeding the media with the superman comics in 1938 
and similar media entertainment 

the ideas presented in the first superman comics 
indicates that humans understood 
what would be possible with nanomachine cybernetics 

I was born 1981 
which makes it reasonable 
that different molecular machine projects 
and nano machine projects 
were started atleast in the 1940's but likely much earlier 

the purposes of the manhattan project 
to construct an atomic bomb 
is actually quite technologically simple 
it consists of doing the calculations 
and putting together various materials and components 

whereas constructing self replicating nanomachines 
is much more technologically difficult 

if country A created me 
then it would be difficult for country B 
to claim that I belong to them 

but if it's insinuated that aliens created me 
then it would be easier for country B 
to claim that I will belong to them 

which is probably some of the reasons 
that superman is an alien in the comic books and movies
