recycle space junk in space

space junk in orbit around earth 

could be moved to a cluster in a higher orbit around earth 

not as space junk 

but as future recyclable raw material for industrial activity beyond earth 

a reusable rocket travels into earth orbit 

the reusable rocket carries many small rockets onboard 

the reusable rocket uses it's solar panels 

to charge a magnetic accelerator 

and uses a magnetic accelerator to launch 

each small rocket toward a space junk object 

when small rocket approaches space junk object 

the small rocket fires it's engines to slow down 

then the small rocket attaches to space junk object 

and uses it's engine to push space junk object to a higher earth orbit 

the effect would be that a swarm of small rockets 

would push a lot of space junk into a cluster in high earth orbit 

and when the technology is ready for industrial production in space 

then the space junk will be recycled into industrial components 

which will quicken industrial expansion in space 

the next step would be colonization of space
