magnetic tech

if molecular machines could be constructed 
to switch from being magnetic to non-magnetic 

then many of those molecular machines could together form a material 
that switches from being magnetic to non-magnetic 

that material could possibly be used 
for energy storage applications 
and motor / engine applications
