control atmospheric plasma flow around hypersonic aircraft

could electromagnets under the skin of an airplane control the atmospheric plasma that envelops the airplane when it flies at hypersonic speed, 
to avoid friction heat on aircraft's skin, 
or to control atmospheric plasma to move the aircraft in different directions 

or could microwave emitters inside the aircraft control the flow of plasma around the aircraft
