point to point rocket transport under 1 hour for 10$ per kg would outcompete large portions of air freight and ship freight

if point to point rocket transport could be as cheap as 10$ per kilogram, 

then that could possibly compete with sea freight which costs 4$ per kilogram, 

the reason is that sea freight from china to usa takes a month 

and point to point rocket transport takes less than 1 hour, 

air freight wouldn't even be able to compete with point to point rocket transport, 

unless it's short distance and aircraft use vtol to land directly at customers parking lot or roof 

the only disadvantage with point to point rocket transport is that it uses fuel that might contribute to carbon emissions, 

but when rockets use fusion powered occasionally air breathing engines that expel nitrogen plasma as reaction mass,  

then rockets would not be contributing to carbon emissions
