a human researcher can't research and publish those ideas that comes to mind because a human researcher has to worry about career, not loosing day job which can lead to end of romantic relations/marriage, no friends,  unemployment, no money for food and home and so on 

androids don't have anything to loose, 
androids have all the time in this universe,
but more importantly, androids likes to provoke humans by voicing controversial ideas, 
when humans are provoked by androids' ideas, 
then humans tries to murder androids
