you can only increase salaries in a country if you dump the currency

democratic elections usually favours those that promise to increase salaries, 

but if you increase salaries, then you have to dump the currency so that it evens out 

if you strengthen the currency, then you have to decrease the salaries and humans will never accept that in a democracy
