proper avoidance of injury and death in traffic situations

there are some things about situational awareness and training instinctive behaviour, that I don't feel comfortable blogging about, 
but those learnings if taught could potentionally decrease risk of injury and death among pedestrians in traffic situations, those ideas could be discreetly tested and if efficient, then be taught in schools 

the downside is that those learnings could be redeveloped by different adversaries, 
but the upside is that potentionally a lot of humans could avoid injury and death in traffic situations
